Hannah and Daniel’s Adora Downs country wedding was beautiful beyond words. Both true country people at heart, they wanted a rustic feel for their special day. We had their engagement session in Brisbane city a couple of months ago which was completely the opposite of Hannah and Daniel’s wedding.
When I arrived I could feel the excitement in the air. The girls were super busy getting ready while the boys were way more chilled, having a couple of beers. Hannah told me her fab idea of arriving at the ceremony on her horse Morven, a magnificent stallion. I jumped for joy, what a cool entrance she will make for sure! It’s lovely to make a wedding so personal and this was such a unique way to do it.
I married underwater (see my 1st blog) and we loved every moment of it. I always say, “do what feels right for you and your partner, not what is expected by others”.
After the ceremony we had plenty of time for the portrait and bridal session, Adora has so many beautiful and gorgeous spots to take photos. Not to forget the cool swing they have! The weather gave us a perfect light and cloud display. As a professional photographer not limited to natural light, I made sure we used those lovely colours in the sky. Always ask your photographer to explain how they use flash to get the most out of your wedding day. If you’re looking for a rustic venue, I would highly recommend to check out Adora Downs for your country wedding.
I wish Hannah & Daniel many years of health, love & happiness! XxX Karin
